[Amended 10-9-2012 by Ord. No. 4-2012]
There shall be a committee comprised of at least one member of the joint Planning/Zoning Board, the Township Engineer and the joint Planning/Zoning Board Attorney. This committee shall be referred to as the "Development and Review Committee" or "DRC."
Those joint Planning/Zoning Board members who shall comprise the Development and Review Committee (DRC) shall be appointed by the Mayor.
[Amended 10-9-2012 by Ord. No. 4-2012]
The DRC shall convene an hour before the monthly meeting of the joint Planning/Zoning Board, but the hearing on the application which is to ultimately be presented to the joint Planning/Zoning Board may not ultimately take place on the day of the DRC meeting.
At the DRC meeting, the applicant may make any presentation the applicant desires and attend to any information and/or suggestions from the DRC prior to the filing of a formal application, or the matter may be presented to the DRC after the formal application has been filed.
A.
The applicant will be responsible to pay $300 for the first DRC meeting, in order to offset any expenses incurred in connection with said meeting, including the payment and charges made by Township professionals.
B.
The $300 fee shall include a $60 application fee. In addition, an escrow account shall be established should the applicant desire or require additional work or information beyond the meeting.
The suggestions from the DRC are not a substitute for obtaining independent legal and professional advice; all applicants are encouraged to do so.
