A. 
Required. No person shall engage in the business of selling secondhand household goods and furnishings or deal in coins or antiques without first having obtained a license from the Village Clerk or designee. The provisions of § 134.71, Wis. Stats., with respect to secondhand article dealers and secondhand jewelry dealers are adopted by reference and incorporated in this article as if fully set forth herein.[1]

B. 
Fee. The license fee under this section shall be as set by the Board from time to time.
Every licensee shall keep a written record of all articles purchased or sold with a description thereof and the name and address of the person involved in the transaction. This record shall be open to inspection by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department or Village law enforcement officer at all reasonable hours. Such record shall be kept for two years after expiration of any license issued under this article.
