A.
Permit.
(1)
Required. No person shall operate a target range within the Village
without a permit. Permits shall be obtained annually from the Village
Clerk or designee. Permits shall designate the area in which such
target range is located.[1]
(2)
Application. Application for such permit shall be made to the Village
Clerk or designee and shall set forth the name of the applicant and
his address and the location and type of target range. If the application
is made by other than the owner of the lands for which the permit
is requested, the owner shall join in making such application.[2]
(3)
Fee. Permit fees shall be established by resolution by the Village
Board from time to time and added to the comprehensive fee schedule.
B.
Target range signs. The person, organization, or association who
or which operates a target range shall post signs at least 10 inches
by 12 inches in size at not less than one-hundred-foot intervals around
the exterior boundaries of the area in which the target range is permitted.
Such signs shall bear the words "Target Range - Dangerous" and shall
also bear the name and address of the person, organization, or association
to whom or to which the permit is granted.
