A.
MARIJUANA
Definitions. The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in
this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection,
except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

B.
Possession. It shall be unlawful for any person to possess 25 grams
or less of marijuana or a marijuana derivative. This section does
not apply to any person who is charged with possession of more than
25 grams of marijuana, or who is charged with possession of any amount
of marijuana following a conviction for possession of any amount of
marijuana, in the State of Wisconsin.

C.
Exception. This section shall not apply to a person who has obtained
or possesses marijuana directly from or pursuant to a valid prescription
or order of a practitioner while acting in the course of his professional
practice. However, the burden of proof to prove such exception shall
be on the person claiming it.
D.
Each violation of any provision of this § 275-14 shall be subject to the penalties and remedies described in § 1-3 of this Code, except that the forfeiture amount described in § 1-3A shall be not less than $25 and not more than $100 for each violation.
