There is hereby established within the Township of Elizabeth a schedule of fees to be charged for the issuance of permits as may be required under appropriate Township ordinances. It is specifically ordained and enacted that the ordinances which require the issuance of permits shall be deemed to be supplemented by this Part setting forth the fees to be charged for such permits as are required. The fees are set forth in the attached Exhibit A,[1] incorporated herein and made a part hereof. It if further specifically ordained and enacted that any subsequent increase or change in the fees may be accomplished by adopting a resolution establishing the same and a formal ordinance will not be required.

It is hereby further specifically ordained and enacted that any person who fails to secure a permit required for the conduct of any business or activity in the Township, and who also fails to pay the appropriate fee for such permit, shall be guilty of a summary criminal offense punishable by a fine imposed by the district justice of the peace having jurisdiction over the offense in the amount of $600 or 30 days in jail as the district justice of the peace shall determine. It is further specifically ordained and enacted that each day of operation without a permit shall be deemed a separate offense punishable as such.

The proper officers of the Township of Elizabeth are further authorized and directed to take all other necessary and appropriate action to implement the terms and provisions of this Part.
