All single-family residences, rental housing units and commercial
properties within the Township shall be required to be inspected and
issued an occupancy permit, which will certify that the housing unit
and commercial properties comply with the latest codes adopted by
the Township. The issuance of a valid occupancy permit must be completed
by the settlement date on the sale of the single-family residence
and commercial property. The issuance of a valid occupancy permit
must be completed prior to a new tenant moving into the said rental
housing unit.

It shall be the responsibility of the owner or the agent of
the housing units to schedule the inspection, pay the required fee
and obtain the valid occupancy permit.

The fee for the inspection for occupancy shall be $25.00 for
a single-family residence and commercial property and $15.00 for rental
housing units. Said fee and is payable at the time of scheduling the
inspection.
