The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or official traffic control devices.[1]

A. 
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§ 467-49).
B. 
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times in any location between any street and its sidewalk.
C. 
The parking or standing of vehicles is prohibited, except momentarily to pick up or discharge a passenger or passengers:[1]
(1) 
In front of a public or private driveway, and for any distance adjacent to such driveway as is indicated by official signs or markings.
(2) 
Outside of designated parking spaces, or in more than one designated parking space, where parking spaces are marked on a street or public parking area.

The standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations and during the hours designated in Schedule XIV (§ 467-50).

A. 
The stopping or standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations and during the hours designated in Schedule XV (§ 467-51).
B. 
The stopping or standing of vehicles is prohibited at all times in any location between any street and its sidewalk.
Angle parking is hereby authorized upon the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XVI (§ 467-52) but only within the painted white stall lines.
Standing is hereby prohibited, excluding buses, at the locations designated as bus stops in Schedule XVII (§ 467-53).
Standing is hereby prohibited, excluding taxis, at the locations described in Schedule XVIII (§ 467-54).

A. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule XIX (§ 467-55) during the times indicated.
B. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on any public street in the Village between the dates of November 1 and April 1 between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited during the hours and in the locations described in Schedule XX (§ 467-56) for a longer period of time than that designated.

A. 
The parking of motor vehicles having a gross vehicle weight over 17,000 pounds is hereby prohibited on the streets, county highways and state highways in the Village.
B. 
The parking of motor vehicles designed to be operated as combination vehicles, such as tractor-trailer combinations, including the tractors, trailers and such portions of such combination vehicles, is hereby prohibited on the streets, county highways and state highways in the Village.
C. 
This provision shall not apply to vehicles parking for a reasonable time for the purpose of making pickups and deliveries.

Between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., the parking of tractor trailers, trucks (excluding pickup trucks), tractors, construction trailers, cargo carriers (all of foregoing commercial or otherwise), recreational vehicles, trailers, campers, camping trailers, boats, vessels, boat or vessel trailers, cargo trailers, or carriers designed to transport cars, vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, jet skis, snowmobiles or similar items (hereinafter for purposes of this section all collectively referred to as "specialty vehicles") is hereby prohibited on the Village streets and alleyways located within the Village. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, at no time shall a specialty vehicle block or impede the safe flow of traffic on any Village street or alleyway located within the Village.
