The intent of the Board of Trustees in the Village of Celoron is to implement a local law to regulate the use of temporary restroom facilities within the Village of Celoron.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
TEMPORARY RESTROOM FACILITY
Any structure that is set on land within the Village of Celoron that is used as a restroom and that is not permanently attached to an existing building or connected to the existing sewer system within the zoning and building laws of the Village of Celoron.
It shall be illegal for anyone to erect or place a portable restroom within the Village of Celoron without first obtaining a permit from the Village Code Enforcement Officer. Applications may be picked up in the Village Clerk's Office.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Code Enforcement Officer of the Village of Celoron, or by any other law enforcement or peace officer. The Code Enforcement Officer or any other law enforcement or peace officer observing a violation of this chapter in his presence shall issue and serve an appearance ticket for such violation, which appearance tickets shall be in the form prescribed by the laws of the State of New York.

Each violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250, imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
