The restrictions set forth in this article shall apply to the
parking lot located at the Edgewater Marina Park and Ferry Landing
located at 989 River Road, Edgewater, New Jersey, hereinafter referred
to as the "Marina Parking Lot."
The facility at the Edgewater Marina Park and Ferry Landing
includes a fully functioning marina owned and operated by the Borough
of Edgewater, a Marina Park owned by the Borough of Edgewater, and
a Ferry Landing owned by the Borough of Edgewater and operated by
a private contractor. The parking restrictions at the Marina Parking
Lot vary depending on an individual's purpose and intended use
of the Marina Park and Ferry Landing facilities. These parking restrictions
are as follows:
A.
Edgewater Marina: Parking is permitted only for individuals possessing
a permit issued by the Borough of Edgewater or for guests at the marina
with an appropriate guest parking permit.
B.
Edgewater Marina Park: Parking is permitted for all individuals using
the Marina Park or its facilities up to a maximum of two hours.
C.
Ferry Landing: Parking is prohibited for all individuals using the
Ferry Landing facilities or traveling via the ferry.
D.
Parking in this lot for all other purposes is expressly prohibited.
A.
The following shall be deemed violations of this article:
(1)
The parking of any vehicle in the Marina Parking Lot while using
the Edgewater Marina without a Borough-issued permit or guest permit.
(2)
The parking of any vehicle in the Marina Parking Lot while using
the Marina Park for a period longer than two hours.
(3)
The parking of any vehicle in the Marina Parking Lot while using
the Ferry Landing facilities or traveling via the ferry.
(4)
The parking of any vehicle in the Marina Parking Lot for any other
purpose not expressly permitted herein.
(5)
Any other noncompliance with the provisions of this article.
This article shall be enforced by the Police Department of the
Borough of Edgewater.
