The Village Treasurer of the Village of Highland Falls shall reside within the County of Orange, New York, or any adjoining county within the State of New York.
This article was adopted pursuant to the state Municipal Home Rule Law. This article is intended to and shall supersede the state Public Officers Law § 3, Village Law § 3-300 and any other special law to the extent such law may require that the Village Treasurer reside within the Village of Highland Falls.
