As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
CONTROLLED BURN
The setting of and constant vigil and control of a fire to prevent its spread to areas not intended to be consumed by that fire.
PERMIT
A written document from the Tatum Police Department setting forth conditions under which a controlled burn may be permitted.
It shall be unlawful for any person to set a fire within the limits of the Town of Tatum without first obtaining a permit from the Tatum Police Department and adhering to any restrictions set forth in the permit.
