A. 
The report of every birth in the Village shall be made to the Village Clerk. The report shall contain such items of information as required by state law.
B. 
The Village Clerk shall keep all such records and make the necessary copies thereof and shall make sufficient copies thereof so that one set of copies shall be retained by the Village.
No person shall bury, inter, or cremate any human body in the Village without having secured a permit therefor from the Village Clerk. Application for permits must be accompanied by a death certificate signed by the attending physician or coroner or other officer holding the inquest.
The Village Clerk shall be and is made recorder of vital statistics for the Village.
The provisions of state law shall be fully complied with by the Village Clerk in connection with vital statistics reports. The Village Clerk shall make or cause to be made sufficient copies of all such records so that one complete set of the records may be retained and kept by the Village.
