A.
There shall be a Shellfish Advisory Committee in the City of Norwalk,
which Committee shall carry no independent authority and will not
contain a fixed number of members.
B.
Members shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor
and shall be selected on the basis of their experience and interest
in serving the shellfish management needs of the city. The Chairman
of said Committee shall be designated by the Mayor.
C.
The purposes of the Committee shall include providing advice and
counsel to the Mayor on shellfishing issues and providing initiatives,
responses, constituent representation and special project capability
to the Shellfish Commission.
