This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "By-Laws
of the Township of Bear Creek, County of Luzerne, Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania."
This chapter is hereby adopted by the Board of Supervisors of
Bear Creek Township pursuant to the powers vested to the said Supervisors
by the Second Class Township Code in 53 P.S. § 66506 governing
the general powers of the Board.
In the administration of these bylaws, Bear Creek Township does
not discriminate against any person in recruitment, selection for
employment, training, promotion, retention, discipline, benefits,
conditions of work, or any other aspect of personnel administration
because of physical disability unless physical abilities constitute
genuine job requirements. The Township will attempt to make reasonable
accommodations to enable otherwise qualified employees and applications
with disabilities to be employed.
