Bear Creek Township is hereby authorized to assess and levy,
and the Township Treasurer named and appointed by the Board of Supervisors
of the Bear Creek Township is hereby authorized to demand, collect
and receive for general revenue purposes from persons, firms, corporations,
partnerships and associations doing construction work within the limits
of said Township, all Township fees which are to be paid by virtue
of the provisions of this article and of such other fee ordinances
which may from time to time be passed by the Board of Supervisors
of Bear Creek Township.

All construction work within the Township must be duly recorded
by filing for a permit and paying a permit fee. The payment of the
permit fee will be by all contractors performing any type of construction
work within the Township limits and will be on a pro rata basis.
Construction work will be all types of work related to and directly
involving the erection of, addition to and improvement of structures.
Thus, all plumbing, electrical, masonry and structural contractors
will be included as doing construction work for the purposes of this
article.
The Code Enforcement Officer will have the authority to inspect
construction sites, collect permit fees and deliver permits.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any
of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof,
be subject to a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $600, plus
costs of prosecution, and in default thereof, to a term of imprisonment
not exceeding 30 days.

The Recorder of Deeds of Luzerne County is appointed agent of
Bear Creek Township for the purpose of providing copies of documents
transferring real property to the Secretary of the Board of Supervisors
of Bear Creek Township on a weekly basis for which the Recorder of
Deeds of Luzerne County is to be paid by the grantee, upon recording,
$1.50 for each such document.
