There is hereby created the position of Deputy Mayor of the
Township of Eagleswood.
The Deputy Mayor shall be so designated by a majority vote of
the Township Committee. The duties of the Deputy Mayor shall be to
serve as the executive officer of the Township in the absence of the
Mayor. In the absence of the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor shall have all
of the rights, powers and duties of said Mayor and shall have the
authority to act on behalf of the Township on all such matters in
the Mayor's absence.
