[Adopted 8-13-1991 by Ord. No. 10-91 (Ch. 13, Art. XIV, of
the 1977 Township Code)]
There is hereby created a position of Licensed Sewer Operator.
The annual salary for said position shall be established in
the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Eagleswood, as amended from
time to time.
The term of office of the Licensed Sewer Operator shall be one
year, commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31 of each year,
and until a successor is appointed and qualified. The position of
Licensed Sewer Operator shall be part-time.
The Licensed Sewer Operator shall have the following duties:
A.
To be on the premises of the sewer system of the Township of Eagleswood
to operate and maintain said system.
B.
To be actively involved in and responsible for the operations, maintenance
and effectiveness of the Township sewer system.
C.
To hold and continue to hold a valid license equal or superior to
the licenses required for the Township sewer system as provided by
law.
D.
To comply with all of the rules and regulations of the New Jersey
Department of Environmental Protection regarding the operation of
the Township sewer system.
E.
To perform such other duties related to the operation of the Township
sewer system as are required by the Township Committee.
The qualifications for the position of Licensed Sewer Operator
shall be the holding and continued qualification for the holding of
a license issued by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection
to operate and maintain the Township sewer system.
