Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-95 et seq., a Junior Firemen's Auxiliary is hereby created within the Borough of Morris Plains Fire Department as follows.

Any individual between 14 and 18 years of age shall be eligible for membership in a Junior Firemen's Auxiliary. No individual shall become a member of a Junior Firemen's Auxiliary unless permission shall be obtained from such individual's parents or legal guardian. Such permission shall be in writing and acknowledged or proved by the Clerk of the Borough of Morris Plains, in the manner required by law for deeds to real estate to be recorded. A copy of the written permission shall be forwarded by the Clerk of the Borough of Morris Plains to the Fire Chief.

Members of the Junior Firemen's Auxiliary shall be provided with the same insurance coverage as provided for regular volunteer firemen of the Borough of Morris Plains and as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:14-37 and 40A:14-38.

The Borough Council shall adopt rules and regulations governing the Junior Firemen's Auxiliary and may from time to time, by resolution, amend same.
