[Adopted ATM 4-30-1990 (Art. IV, Sec. 24, of the 1926 Bylaws)]
For the purposes of controlling and abating noise and illumination and to protect and promote the nighttime tranquility, no person shall sell at retail between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. No store or place of business engaged in retail sales shall be open for the transaction of retail business between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. For special events, the Selectmen may grant an exception to the provisions of this Section.[1]
