GENERAL REFERENCES

No person, other than one holding a license under the provisions of MGL c. 140, shall permit an unregistered motor vehicle, or parts thereof, to remain on his or her property for more than three weeks unless permission to do so has first been given in writing by the Board of Selectmen after an investigation by the Board of Health and a written certification by them that the same does not constitute a hazard to the public health as a harboring place for insects and rodents.
This Bylaw shall not apply to the storage of motor vehicles or parts thereof inside buildings.
Fine (Medfield police officers or Highway Superintendent):
A. 
First offense: $75.
B. 
Second offense: $100.
C. 
Third offense: $150.
D. 
Fourth and subsequent offenses: $250.

Whoever violates any Section of this Bylaw shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $300 for each offense, which shall inure to the Town. Such fines shall be recovered by indictment or on complaint before a district court or by noncriminal disposition in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws.
