Municipal liens are as follows:
A. 
For the issuance of the thirty-day certified mail notice letter: the sum of $100.
B. 
For the preparation and filing of the municipal claim: the sum of $250.
C. 
For the preparation and filing of the praecipe and writ of scire facias: the sum of $500.
D. 
For additional work required on any contested lien: an hourly rate of $175.
E. 
For a Sheriff’s sale proceeding: the sum of $500 minimum for work and document preparation for each lien, plus an hourly rate of $175 for any additional work required.
F. 
For any additional work required: the sum of $175 per hour.
G. 
All the above sums shall be additive.
Pursuant to the Municipal Claims Act,[1] the Township of Penn hereby sets the interest rate applicable to all municipal claims at a rate of 10%.

Court costs, filing fees and charges applicable to all municipal claims shall be an additional expense to be collected from the debtor.
All ordinances and resolutions inconsistent herewith shall be and hereby are repealed except § 172-91 of the Code of the Township of Penn, which shall remain in full force and effect.
The current fees for liens previously filed, which fees are set forth in the repealed ordinances and resolutions, are hereby reaffirmed and shall remain in effect for those liens filed prior to the effective date of this chapter.
This chapter shall become effective on the adoption hereof.
