The Constable is empowered and directed to:
A.
Cause all violations of Town ordinances of which the Constable has
knowledge or information to be prosecuted, except that the Constable
shall not enforce any ordinance for which enforcement has been delegated
by the Town Board to some other Town official.
B.
Act as specifically directed from time to time by the Town Board
to see that lawful Town orders are obeyed and to carry out other directives
of the Town Board consistent with this article.
C.
Suppress unlawful assemblies within the Town pursuant to § 947.06,
Wis. Stats.
D.
Cause to be prosecuted all violations of law of which the Constable
has knowledge or information and perform all other duties required
of the Constable by any other law.
A.
The adoption of this article does not preclude the Town Board from
adopting any other ordinance relating to the enforcement of any other
law or ordinance nor from adopting an ordinance modifying the jurisdiction
and duties of the Town Constable.
B.
The jurisdiction and duties of the Town Constable as stated in this
article shall not preclude the Town Board or any Town official from
proceeding under any other authority or method to enforce any ordinance,
regulation or order.
This article shall, after passage and publication, become effective
as of January 1, 1985.
