The Board hereby appoints the Finance Director of the Township as the Treasurer of the Township. The Finance Director shall serve as Treasurer at the pleasure of the Board, which, by resolution, may make future appointments to such appointed office. Should it determine to do so, the Board may provide, by resolution, for any compensation of such appointed office holder in addition to such compensation provided to such appointee as an employee of the Township.
The Board may appoint, by resolution, a Deputy Treasurer pursuant to the provisions of the Amendment.[1]

The Treasurer shall give a fidelity bond in accordance with the Amendment.[1]

The Treasurer shall perform all duties authorized and provided for in the Amendment[1] and the Township Code as the same may, in the future, be further amended, subject to all restrictions provided in the Amendment and the Township Code, including, without limitation, restrictions applicable to depositories of Township funds.

The Treasurer shall serve as tax collector for any taxes levied by the Township under and pursuant to the Act of December 31, 1065, P.L. 1257, No. 511 ("Local Tax Enabling Act"),[1] and for which the Township has not designated others as tax collectors.
