[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Mendham as Sec. 2-41 and 2-41A of the 1998 Revised General Ordinances. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Public records of the Township shall be open for inspection by members of the public as provided by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1. Such inspection shall be made only at reasonable times during business hours and without interference to the conduct of the affairs of the office or other place where such records are kept or maintained.

Fees to be charged for copies of public documents and searches are as provided in Chapter 160, Fees.

Where the document in question is more than 100 pages in length, the Township Clerk may permit the person requesting copies to use his/her own copying machine, provided that there is no risk of damage or mutilation of the documents and it would not be incompatible with the transaction of public business. Such determination shall be completely within the discretion of the Township Clerk. The fee in such case shall be as provided in Chapter 160, Fees.
