The establishment of a Police Department in and for the Township
of Susquehanna and the appointment of policemen by the Board of Commissioners,
subject to any applicable civil service provisions in the law, is
hereby approved.

The Police Department of the Township of Susquehanna shall be composed of a Chief of Police, one or more lieutenants, one or more sergeants, three or more corporals, and such patrolmen or other police officers as have been or may be appointed by the Board of Commissioners from time to time as provided in § 1-501 of this Part.
