No person shall:
A. 
Operate any vehicle in any area of any park except on paved roads or as expressly permitted by the Park and Recreation Board.
B. 
Fail to obey all traffic officers or Town employees authorized and instructed to direct traffic in the park.
C. 
Operate any vehicle in the park in excess of 10 miles per hour.
D. 
Park a vehicle other than in a designated parking area except as expressly permitted by the Park and Recreation Board.[1]

A. 
No person shall picnic or lunch in an area other than those designated for the purpose, nor shall he fail to obey directions of the Park and Recreation Board when issued to prevent congestion and secure maximum use of such areas.
B. 
No person shall use any portion of the picnic areas or any buildings or structures therein for the purpose of picnicking to the exclusion of other persons, nor shall any person use such area and facilities for an unreasonable time, if facilities are crowded, except as expressly permitted by the Park and Recreation Board.
No person shall camp in the park unless a permit has been obtained from the Park and Recreation Board.
No person shall climb any tree, nor walk, stand or sit upon monuments, railings, fences or any other property not designated or customarily used for such purposes.
A. 
All persons shall use restrooms as provided in the park and shall cooperate in maintaining restrooms in a neat and sanitary condition.
B. 
The use of public drinking water faucets for any washing purposes is prohibited.
A. 
No person shall swim, bathe or wade in any springs, streams, ponds or public pools except at such times and in such places as the Park and Recreation Board may designate by proper signs or notices or as specifically authorized by a special permit used by such Board.
B. 
Bathing in Town parks shall be limited to those areas designated as safe by the Park and Recreation Board.
C. 
The use of any artificial means of support in the water, such as tubes or rubber balls, by any person shall be prohibited whenever conditions so warrant.
No glass containers or utensils shall be carried into or used in any public bathing area or concession area.
No person shall dress or undress in any portion of any public bathing pool or beach except in buildings designated for such purpose by the Park and Recreation Board. The removal of outer garments placed over proper bathing attire shall not be considered a violation of this section.
No person shall interfere with various recreational programs in parks as from time to time may be sponsored by the Town.
A. 
No person shall engage in any athletics, games or contests except swimming or bathing at any public area of the Town except in areas designated for that purpose by the Park and Recreation Board.
B. 
No person shall take part in or abet the playing of any games involving horseshoes, balls or other propelled objects except in areas set apart for such activities.
No person shall go onto the ice on any of the ponds except such areas designated for skating and ruled safe by the Park and Recreation Board.

A. 
No animal shall be taken into or permitted to enter any public bathing area of the Town.
B. 
No person shall ride a horse except on designated bridle paths. No riding of horses into streams, public pools or ponds shall be permitted. No horse shall be allowed to graze or go unattended.
C. 
Domestic animals shall be leashed or bridled at all times when within a park.
D. 
The owner or person in control of a domestic animal within a park shall immediately remove therefrom any feces deposited by such animal.
E. 
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be fined in accordance with § 1-2 of this Code.

No person shall, except by permit:
A. 
Hunt, molest, harm, frighten, kill, trap, chase, tease, shoot or throw projectiles at any animal or bird, nor shall he remove, collect or have in his possession the young of any wild animal or the eggs or nest or young of any bird.
B. 
Hunt, trap or pursue wildlife at any time, and no person shall use, carry or possess firearms, air rifles, spring guns, bows and arrows, slings or any kind of trapping device or any other weapons potentially inimical to wildlife and dangerous to human safety.
C. 
Give or offer or attempt to give to any animal or bird any poison or other known noxious substance.
