Borough of Hamburg, PA Part 2 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE

§ 5-201 Adoption of International Building Code.

A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Borough Manager of the Borough of Hamburg, marked and designated as the "International Building Code," including appendix, chapters, as published by the International Codes Council, Inc., as amended from time to time in the future, be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the Borough of Hamburg, Berks County, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code, as amended from time to time in the future, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Part, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 5-202 of this Part.

§ 5-202 Amendments Made in International Building Code.

The building code hereby adopted is amended as follows:

A. Section 101.1. Borough of Hamburg.

B. Section 103.6. As adopted by Borough Council.

B(1). Section 116 shall be amended by adding an additional subsection to § 116 which shall read as follows:

(a) Violation of Ordinance.

(1) Any individual, firm or corporation that violates any provision of this code commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs.

(2) Each day that a violation of this code continues shall be considered a separate violation.
