Borough of Hamburg, PA Part 4 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE

§ 5-401 Adoption of Property Maintenance Code.

A certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the Borough Manager of the Borough of Hamburg, marked and designated as the "International Property Maintenance Code," including appendix, chapters, as published by the International Codes Council, Inc., as amended from time to time in the future, be and is hereby adopted as the Property Maintenance Code of the Borough of Hamburg, Berks County, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Property Maintenance Code, as amended from time to time in the future, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this Part, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 5-402 of this Part.

§ 5-402 Additions, Insertions and Changes.

The following sections are hereby revised:

A. Section 101.1. Borough of Hamburg.

B. Section 103.6. $20 per residential rental unit/$20 per commercial unit to be paid annually.

B(1). Section 106, Violations, Subsection 106.4, Violations, shall be amended and shall read as follows:

(a) Violation of Ordinance.

(1) Any individual, firm or corporation that violates any provision of this code commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $1,000 and costs.

(2) Each day that a violation of this code continues shall be considered a separate violation.

C. Section 303.14. May 1 to October 15.

D. Section 602.3. October 15 to May 15.

E. Section 602.4. October 15 to May 15.
