[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Brodhead

The Communications Utility for the City of Brodhead is hereby
created. It shall be the responsibility of the Communications Utility
to plan, acquire, construct, extend and improve, maintain, operate,
lease, dispose of, regulate and manage a communications system to
provide, among other things, telecommunications, data, fiber-optic,
Internet, cable television, video and information services.
The management, operation and control of the Communications
Utility shall be under the charge and management of the Brodhead Water
and Light Commission, which may exercise all powers necessary or desirable
to effect its purposes, subject to the final authority of the Common
Council.
