A. 
The Building Code of the City of Wildwood may be enforced pursuant to the terms of a contractual arrangement entered into between the City of Wildwood and St. Louis County.
B. 
The Building Code of the City of Wildwood shall be, except as modified by this Article, all such Sections as set forth in Sections 1101.010 through 1103.3500, inclusive and including all appendices, of the Building Code of St. Louis County, Missouri, as amended by Ordinance No. 16,912 (1994), Ordinance No. 19,298 (January 14, 1999), Ordinance No. 20311, Ordinance No. 22,314 (May 18, 2005) and Ordinance No. 24,444 (July 21, 2010) on file in the City offices and incorporated herein.

The following Sections of the Building Code are deleted and substituted and adopted as follows:
1. 
1101.010. Building Code Adopted. Certain documents, three (3) copies of which were placed on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works and the Administrative Director of the County Council, said copies being marked and designated as the BOCA National Building Code, 1996, Thirteenth Edition, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of Wildwood, Missouri, for the control of building and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of the BOCA National Building Code, 1996, Thirteenth Edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Article, with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes, prescribed in this Article.

1101.020. Jurisdictional Titles. Throughout the BOCA National Building Code/1996 Twelfth Edition, wherever the terms "Name of Jurisdiction" or "Local Jurisdiction" appear it shall be deemed to mean "St. Louis County, Missouri" or "City of Wildwood." Likewise wherever the term "Department of Building Inspection" appears it shall be deemed to mean "Department of Public Works or its designee." Wherever the term "Code" appears it shall mean the BOCA National Building Code 1996, as adopted herein.
3. 
1101.500. Amendments To Chapter 5 BOCA National Building Code—General Building Limitations. Chapter 5 of the 1996 BOCA National Building Code is amended by the following provisions. Each Section, Subsection or clause of the Code that numerically corresponds to one of the following numbered provisions is hereby deleted where so noted, or amended to read as set forth below. Each provision set out below without a corresponding Section, Subsection or clause number in the Code is hereby enacted and added thereto.
a. 
Table 503. Table 503 (Height and Area Limitations of Buildings) is amended by adding "note n" to the last column (Type 5B construction) of line R-3 (Residential one- and two-family and multiple single-family) and by adding the text of such note as follows:

for height exceptions for one- and two-family dwellings in buildings of type 5B construction see Section 504.8.
b. 
503.2.1. Open Areas Under Roof. Covered porches and other open areas under roof that project more than ten (10) feet beyond the exterior wall of a building shall be included in the building area regulated by Table 503 and the supporting structure protected as indicated by Section 705.0.
c. 
504.8. Type 5B Construction. The height limitation for building of type 5B construction with occupancies in Use Group R-3 shall be increased to three (3) stories and thirty-five (35) feet in height where the lowest story is a story above grade.

The Residential Code of the City of Wildwood may be enforced pursuant to the terms of a contractual arrangement entered into between the City of Wildwood and St. Louis County.
B. 
The Residential Code of the City of Wildwood shall be the Residential Code of St. Louis County, Missouri, as amended by Ordinance No. 22,314 (May 18, 2005), Ordinance No. 24,427 (July 13, 2010), and Ordinance No. 25,572-13 (December 1, 2013) on file in the City offices and incorporated herein by reference.

The Existing Building Code of the City of Wildwood may be enforced pursuant to the terms of a contractual arrangement entered into between the City of Wildwood and St. Louis County.
B. 
The Existing Building Code of the City of Wildwood shall be the Existing Building Code of St. Louis County, Missouri, as amended by Ordinance No. 22,314 (May 18, 2005), Ordinance No. 24,444 (July 21, 2010), and Ordinance No. 25,572-13 (December 1, 2013) on file in the City offices and incorporated herein by reference.
