Duties And Qualifications. The City Clerk shall
have duties as are provided in Chapter 79, RSMo., and other provisions
of State law, and by order of the Board of Aldermen. The Board of
Aldermen may delegate supervision of the City Clerk to the City Administrator
or other City employee.

There is hereby created the position of Acting City Clerk who
will possess all of the qualifications and perform all of the duties
of the City Clerk in the absence of the City Clerk. The Acting City
Clerk shall be appointed in the same manner as the City Clerk.

No person shall be appointed to the office of Municipal Judge
who is not at least twenty-one (21) years of age, a citizen of the
United States, an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Missouri,
and a resident of the State of Missouri. The Municipal Judge shall
meet all other qualifications established by Chapter 479, RSMo.

who will possess all of the qualifications and perform all of the
duties of the Municipal Judge in the absence of the Municipal Judge.
The Acting Municipal Judge shall be appointed in the same manner as
the Municipal Judge.

The City Treasurer shall be a citizen of the United States.

There is hereby created the position of Acting City Treasurer
who will possess all of the qualifications and perform all of the
duties of the City Treasurer in the absence of the City Treasurer.
The Acting City Treasurer shall be appointed in the same manner as
the City Treasurer.

A. Qualifications. No person shall be City Attorney who is
not a practicing attorney in the courts of the State of Missouri.
B. Duties. The City Attorney shall prosecute all offenses against
the ordinances of the City before the Municipal Judge or other officer,
and shall prosecute all suits wherein the City is a party. He/she
shall also give such counsel or advice as the Mayor or other officers
of the City may require.
C. Powers. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to make all
necessary affidavits for continuances, appeals, or other purposes
in all actions in which the City is a party.
