The Animal Control Officer is an at-will employee of the City
and he/she shall exercise the powers and perform the duties prescribed
for his/her office in this Chapter and elsewhere in this Code and
shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as
may from time to time be required of him/her by the Mayor or City
Council. The Animal Control Officer shall be under the direct control
and supervision of the Police Department.
