No person shall maliciously, willfully or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance, or equipment which is a part of the wastewater facilities. Any person violating this provision shall be subject to immediate arrest and criminal prosecution under Wisconsin law.
Any person who intentionally, negligently, or accidentally violates any provision of this chapter shall be financially responsible to pay the Village and any downstream user for the amount of any expense, loss or damage suffered by the Village or any downstream user as a result of such violation. This section shall be applicable whether or not a written notice of the violation was given and regardless of any other penalty which may be imposed for violation of this chapter.
