Before entering upon the duties of his/her office, the City
Treasurer shall give a bond to the City, to be approved by the Board
of Aldermen, in the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) with
two (2) or more good and sufficient sureties conditioned that he/she
will duly account for and pay over all monies that may come into his/her
hands by virtue of his/her office as City Treasurer and faithfully
perform the duties of said office.
