Whenever the Board of Trustees is notified by the appropriate
Board Chairman that a member of the Planning Board or the Board of
Appeals has failed to satisfy the minimum attendance requirement,
the Board of Trustees shall hold a public hearing, on not less than
10 days' public notice, to determine whether such member has
failed to satisfy the minimum attendance requirement. Notice of such
hearing shall be given to such Board member by certified mail at least
10 days prior to such hearing.
If, after such hearing, the Board of Trustees determines that
such member of the Planning Board or the Board of Appeals, as the
case may be, has failed to satisfy the minimum attendance requirement,
it shall be the duty of the Mayor to remove such Board member from
his or her respective Board forthwith.
