It is the intent of this chapter to prohibit unsightly and hazardous materials from being dumped or thrown on private or public property and to prevent the marring or defacement of said properties.
No person shall maliciously, wantonly, negligently or otherwise remove or mar, cut, mark or otherwise injure real property or improvements thereto belonging to the Village of Wesley Hills or to any person within the Village.
No person shall throw, drop or place, or permit to be deposited or scattered, upon any sidewalk, alley, street, bridge, or public road or upon any private property in the Village of Wesley Hills any waste, litter, rubbish, fill, or other material of any kind, including the abandoning of vehicles or the stripping and junking of any vehicles.
No person shall fasten in any way any show card, poster or other advertising device upon any public or private property in the Village of Wesley Hills, unless legally authorized to do so.
No person shall trespass upon any public or private property within the Village of Wesley Hills.
No person shall tamper with, injure, deface, destroy, or remove any sign, notice, marker, fire alarm box, fire hydrant, topographical survey monument, or any other personal property belonging to, erected, or placed by the Village of Wesley Hills or any other municipal corporation.
Commission of the offenses described in any of the sections of this chapter upon any tomb, monument, grave, bench, tombstone, footstone, headstone, post, marker or other monument for or of the dead, erected or being in any cemetery within the Village of Wesley Hills, or upon the lands, grounds or real property of any cemetery located within the Village of Wesley Hills, shall be subject to prosecution in accordance with this chapter.

This chapter shall be enforced by Police Department personnel or the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Code Inspector of the Village of Wesley Hills, each of whom is hereby authorized and empowered to issue an appearance ticket returnable in the Justice Court of the Village of Wesley Hills for any violation of any provision of this chapter.
A. 
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not to exceed $500 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 15 days, or both. Each day that such violation continues shall constitute a separate and distinct violation.
B. 
In addition to the above provided penalties and punishment, the Board of Trustees may also maintain an action in any court of competent jurisdiction to compel compliance with this chapter by injunction or other action.
