The previously existing Planning Board is hereby continued and
its members shall continue to serve their appointed terms. Future
appointments shall continue to be governed by § 271 of the
Town Law, as the same may be amended and revised.
The Planning Board shall have all powers and duties prescribed
by the Town Board.
It shall be the duty of the Planning Board of the Town of Royalton:
A.
To prepare recommendations for changes in a comprehensive land development
plan for the Town.
B.
To review and comment on all proposed zoning amendments after referral
to it by the Town Board.
C.
To conduct site plan review as authorized by the pertinent provisions
of this chapter.
D.
To consider requests for advisory assistance to the Zoning Board
of Appeals on other matters.
E.
To research and report on any matter referred to it by the Town Board.
F.
To handle subdivision plat applications and approvals in accordance
with §§ 276 and 277 of the Town Law and the subdivision
regulations of the Town.
G.
To make investigations and maps, reports and recommendations in any
matter related to planning and development as it deems desirable providing
expenditure of the Board does not exceed appropriations made by the
Town Board.
