Speed limit signs. Signs shall be erected giving notice of the foregoing
speed limits in accordance with the specifications thereof, their
location and nature, to be as provided in the Motor Vehicle Code of
Pennsylvania.
B.Â
"Slow. Children at Play" signs. The Chief of Police of Lansdale is
hereby authorized and directed to procure signs as may be specified
by the Public Safety Committee of the Borough Council and to post
the same on the streets so designated at appropriate intervals along
each street giving public notice that traffic should proceed slow
— children at play. Such signs shall be of a permanent nature.
Any operator of a motor vehicle exceeding the speed limits hereinabove
specified shall be guilty of a violation of this article, and subject
to the penalties hereinafter provided.
