Snow routes shall be streets or portions of streets designated by this Schedule. Said snow routes shall be marked with regular no parking signs with the addition of the words "during a snow emergency".

Whenever the Chief of Police deems it necessary, he/she shall have the power to declare a snow emergency. In the event, he/she declares a snow emergency, it shall be announced and broadcast publicly for a period of two (2) hours prior to enactment, if possible. The time of the snow emergency shall be designated by the Chief of Police and shall be contained in the declaration. Termination or extension of the original duration shall be at the discretion of the Chief of Police.

Snow routes shall receive priority treatment during normal snow operations and/or during a snow emergency.

Parking shall be prohibited on all portions of snow routes for the duration of a snow emergency. In addition, no person shall stand or stop a vehicle in a manner which obstructs or impedes traffic on a snow route during a snow emergency.

Any vehicle found in violation of this Schedule may be removed from the snow route in accordance with Section 215.060 of this Code.

Any person who violates any provision of this Schedule shall be assessed a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) and shall be assessed the applicable towing and storage costs, which shall be in addition to the regular court costs.

The following routes are designated snow routes:

	North/South Streets
	North Lincoln Drive
	South Lincoln Drive
	Main Street from Highway 47 to South City Limits
	3rd Street/Old Moscow Mills Road
	Front Street
	Ellis Avenue from Highway 47 to College Street
	Perkins Blvd.

	East/West Streets
	Cherry Street from Perkins Blvd. to Highway 47 (on the East side)
	Boone Street from Main St. to 1300 block (on the West side)
	Cap-Au-Gris Rd.
	Monroe
	Fair St.
	Old Cap-Au-Gris Rd.
	Cherry Blossom Way
	College St.
