The City Council does hereby elect to renew its acceptance of
the terms and provisions of the Workers' Compensation law and each
provision thereof and amendments thereto that may be applicable to
the City as same is shown by the Revised Statutes of Missouri.

The Board of Public Works is hereby authorized to purchase liability
insurance for its employees, including the employees of the Electric
Light Department, Water Department and Garbage Pickup and Disposal
Department, under the terms and provisions of the Missouri Workers'
Compensation Act.
[CC 1999 §2-223]
The premium payments for such liability insurance in relation
to Workers' Compensation shall be paid for from "electric light works
operation and maintenance account" of the "Electric Light Works Revenue
Fund", from the "Water Works Collection Fund" and from the "Garbage
Disposal Collection Fund".
