There is hereby established a Florissant Disability Awareness
Commission of the City which shall consist of nine (9) persons, residents
of the City, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval
of the Council. The terms of such members shall be three (3) years.
Members shall serve until their successors have been duly appointed
and qualified.

It shall be the duty of the Florissant Disability Awareness
Commission to coordinate all programs conducted by the City for citizens
with disabilities and to make recommendations to the Mayor and Council
concerning any programs or changes in existing programs as it deems
appropriate for the citizens of the City who have disabilities. The
Commission shall make an annual report to the Mayor and City Council
concerning its activities.

The Florissant Disability Awareness Commission shall elect its
own Chairman and Vice-Chairman who shall serve one (1) year terms.
The Commission may adopt from time to time such rules and regulations
as it deems necessary to carry into effect its responsibilities.

The payment and processing of expenses shall be in accordance
with the regulations of the City concerning the payment of reasonable
and necessary expenses to other boards and commissions of the City.
