Article IV Vacations Enumerated

§ 188-15 Elk Creek Access Road.

[Adopted 1-26-2010 by Ord. No. 2010-001]

A. All of the Elk Creek Access Road from State Route 5 northerly to the boat launch as shown on the aforesaid Plan of Robert L. Rabell dated December 4, 2002, is hereby vacated, including all parking lots, access to parking lots, access to boat launch and access to restrooms. The vacated roadway is 2,969.94 feet long, more or less, and 20 feet wide.

B. The proper Township officials are authorized to strike the vacated portion of Elk Creek Access Road from the official maps of Girard Township and shall, in accordance with Section 67305(b) of the Second Class Township Code, file a copy of this section, together with a copy of the aforesaid plan, in the office of the Clerk of Courts of Erie County, Pennsylvania.

§ 188-16 Old Tannery Road (also known as "Old Route 25016").

[Adopted 6-11-2013]

A. All of Old Tannery Road, also known as "Old Route 25016," from Abandonment Sta. 67 + 50 to Abandonment Sta. 87 + 51, as shown on the aforesaid sketch as approved March 9, 1954, is hereby vacated. The vacated roadway is 2,001 feet long, more or less (0.379 mile).

B. The proper Township officials are authorized to strike the vacated portion of Old Tannery Road from the official maps of Girard Township and shall, in accordance with Section 67305(b) of the Second Class Township Code, file a copy of this section, together with a copy of the aforesaid plan, in the office of the Clerk of Courts of Erie County, Pennsylvania.
