A. The City hereby adopts the following technical codes, amendments
and provisions as adopted by St. Louis County and incorporated into
the County Code of Ordinances:
1.
Building Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter 1115 of
the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances;
2.
Residential Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter 1116
of the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances;
3.
Existing Building Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter
1117 of the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances;
4.
Electrical Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter 1102
of the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances;
5.
Mechanical Code and amendments (including fire Suppression Systems,
Elevators and Conveying Systems, Amusement Rides and Periodic Inspections
of Mechanical Equipment) as set forth in Chapter 1108 of the St. Louis
County Code of Ordinances;
6.
Plumbing Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter 1103 of
the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances;
7. Explosives Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter 711 of the
St. Louis County Code of Ordinances; and
8. Swimming Pool and Spa Code and amendments as set forth in Chapter
1118 of the St. Louis County Code of Ordinances.

The City of Edmundson hereby ratifies its present contract with
St. Louis County, Missouri, for Code enforcement services, including
terms contained in such contract of exclusions for demolition, unfit
buildings, reoccupancies and parking lots, which services are retained
by the City of Edmundson.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this Article shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined in an amount not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)
or be imprisoned in the City or County Jail for a period of not exceeding
three (3) months, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such
violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a
separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
