law, City ordinance and the Board.

The Delegate Zoning Enforcement Officer shall perform such duties and exercise such powers as may be delegated him/her by the Zoning Enforcement Officer or by the Board of Alderpersons. In the absence of the Zoning Enforcement Officer from the City, the Delegate Zoning Enforcement Officer shall serve as Zoning Enforcement Officer and perform all of the duties and exercise all of the powers of the Zoning Enforcement Officer as enumerated in Section
405.430 of Chapter
405 entitled "Duties and Powers of Zoning Enforcement Officer".

A. The Public
Works Director shall:
1. The
Director of Public Works and in charge of the Department of Public
Works of the City.
2. He/she
shall have the power to prescribe rules and regulations not inconsistent
with the law governing the City or inconsistent with policy determinations
by the Board of Alderpersons for the conduct of the employees of his/her
department, for the distribution and performance of its business and
for the custody and preservation of the books, records and property
under his/her control.
3. Except
as otherwise provided by action of the Board of Alderpersons, the
Public Works Director shall be in charge of:
a. All
employees of the Public Works Department.
b. The
grading and improvement of all streets, alleys, highways and public
ways.
c. The
construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of all pavements,
curbs and sidewalks.
d. Supervision
of mowing on the public right-of-ways and on the public streets and
removal of snow.
e. The
inspection of all grinder pumps and repair and maintenance of water
and sewer lines of the City.
f. The
lighting of public grounds and public streets. The laying of conduits,
its location, erection, construction of poles and all structures in
and over public grounds and highways and the granting of all permits
to excavate on to or disturb any highway or public property except
the community center or to make any special use thereof.
g. The
general supervision of surveying and engineering activities.
h. The
supervision of all of the erosion control devices of the builders.
i. To
perform such other duties as may be required by the City's ordinances
or by the Board of Alderpersons or the Mayor.

A. The Community
Center Manager shall:
1. Ensure
general maintenance, cleanliness, overall appearance and security
of the Community Center building and grounds;
2. Assist
rental customers by providing site visits and information;
3. Collect
rental monies and deposits; properly record receipts and disbursements;
prepare billings and timely payments;
4. Monitor
the Community Center budget and prepare accurate, timely reports;
5. Monitor
and order supplies;
6. Advertise
the availability of the Community Center to residents and the public;
7. Perform
such other duties as delegated by the Mayor.
