No person shall hinder, molest or interfere with the Animal Control Officer or Police Officer in the performance of their duties under this Chapter.

A. 
Penalties. Any person convicted of violating any provision of:

Section 205.100 or 205.110 of this Chapter shall be fined not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than ninety (90) days, or both fined and imprisoned. The court may suspend imposition or execution of sentence to imprisonment only and place the defendant on probation for a period of not more than one (1) year. In addition to the foregoing, the court shall order the registration of the pit bull dog involved in the violation revoked and the animal permanently removed from the City. In the event the animal is not removed from the City as ordered, the court shall find the defendant to be in contempt of court and order the immediate confiscation and impoundment of the animal. Each day that a violation of Section 205.100 or 205.110 continues shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to the foregoing penalties, a person convicted of violating Section 205.100 or 205.110 shall be liable for and shall pay all of the costs and expenses incurred in connection with the enforcement of said Section including, but not limited to, shelter, food, handling and veterinary care for the animal, witness fees and mileage and court costs; and

Any Section of Chapter 205, except Sections 205.100 and 205.110, for which special penalty provisions are applicable, shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than ninety (90) days, or both fined and imprisoned. The court may suspend imposition or execution of sentence and place the defendant on probation for a period of not more than one (1) year. Each day that a violation of any provisions of this Chapter, excluding Sections 205.100 and 205.110, continues shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to all of the foregoing penalties, a person convicted of violating said this Chapter, excluding Sections 205.100 and 205.110, inclusive shall be liable for shelter, food, handling and veterinary care for the animal, witness fees and mileage and court costs.
