It shall be unlawful for any shopping center to engage in business
without first procuring and paying for a license as required by this
Chapter.

Every person, firm or corporation conducting any business under
the provision of this Chapter shall pay a license fee of eleven thousand
one hundred sixty dollars ($11,160.00) per year, payable in twelve
(12) equal installments with each installment due and payable on or
before the first (1st) day of each month.

The license year for any license issued under this Chapter shall
begin July first (1st) and end June thirtieth (30th).

The fees for all licenses issued under the provisions of this
Chapter shall be prorated over a twelve (12) month period with one
twelfth (1/12th) of the license fee payable on or before the first
(1st) day of each month of the license year.

The Board of Aldermen shall prescribe the forms to be used for
applications and licenses. Licenses shall be signed by the Mayor and
City Clerk who shall affix the Seal of the City thereon, and said
license shall be countersigned by the Collector.

Each licensee shall display the license in a conspicuous place
within the place of business.

Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this
Chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not
to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00); every day that such violation
shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
