Statement of purpose. It is hereby declared to be the policy of the
Village of Brandon that all persons shall have an equal opportunity
for housing regardless of sex, race, color, sexual orientation, disability,
religion, national origin, marital status, family status, status as
a victim of domestic abuse, sexual assault, or stalking, lawful source
of income, age, or ancestry, and it is the duty of the Village to
assist in the orderly prevention or removal of all discrimination
in housing through the powers granted under §§ 66.0125
and 66.1011, Wis. Stats.

State statutes adopted.
(1)Â
Adopted by reference. The statutory provisions of § 106.50,
Wis. Stats., and subsequent amendments thereto, are hereby adopted
by reference and made a part of this chapter as if fully set forth
herein.
(2)Â
Implementation. The officials and employees of the Village of Brandon
shall assist in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination
in housing within the Village of Brandon by implementing the authority
and enforcement procedures set forth in § 106.50, Wis. Stats.
(3)Â
Complaints. The Village Clerk shall maintain forms for complaints
to be filed under § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and shall assist
any person alleging a violation thereof in the Village of Brandon
to file a complaint hereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce
Development for enforcement of § 106.50, Wis. Stats.
