(a) 
Agency designated. Pursuant to the provisions of the state construction code, in accordance with Section 8b(6) of Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, the building officials of the township is hereby designated as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibility of the township under Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, State of Michigan. The township assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of said Act throughout the corporate limits.
(b) 
Code appendix enforced. Pursuant to the provisions of the state construction code, in accordance with Section 8b(6) of Act 230, of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, Appendix G of the Michigan Building Code shall be enforced by the enforcing agency within the township.
(c) 
Designation of regulated flood-prone hazard areas. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Study (FIS) for Macomb County effective December 30, 2020, and the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) panel numbers of: 26099CIND0D, 26099C0264J, 26099C0266J, 26099C0267J, 26099C0268J, 26099C0269J, with an effective date of December 30, 2020, and 26099C0255G, 26099C0256G, 26099C0257G, 26099C0258G, 26099C0259G, 26099C0263G, 26099C0265G, 26099C0278G with an effective date of September 29, 2006, with the issue date of December 18, 2018, and effective December 30, 2020, are adopted by reference for the purposes of administration of the Michigan Construction Code and declared to be a part of Section 1612.3 of the Michigan Building Code, and to provide the content of the "Flood Hazards" section of Table R301.2(1) of the Michigan Residential Code.

(a) 
Short title. This section shall be known and cited as the Chesterfield Township Administration of State Construction Code Ordinance.
(b) 
Agency designated. Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Residential Code and Michigan Building Code and in accordance with Section 8b of the Stille-DeRossett-Hale Single Construction Code Act being, MCL 125.1501 et seq. ("The Act"), the Charter Township of Chesterfield Building Department, through its building official and various inspectors are hereby designated as the enforcing agency to discharge the responsibility of the Charter Township of Chesterfield of Macomb County, State of Michigan under The Act. The Charter Township of Chesterfield assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the Act throughout its corporate limits.
(c) 
Repeal of conflicting provisions. All resolutions, ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this section are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
