A. 
The sale of alcoholic liquor shall be allowed on Sundays between the hours of 12:00 noon and 11:00 p.m. and on the days and during the times allowed under § 30-91 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended, in hotels, restaurants, cafes, bowling establishments, clubs, golf country clubs and places operating under charitable organization permits, a university permit, a coliseum permit, coliseum concession permit, a special sporting facility restaurant permit, a special sporting facility guest permit, a special sporting facility employee recreational permit, a special sporting facility concession permit, a special sporting facility bar permit or a tavern permit.[1]

B. 
Except as provided in Subsection A, the sale or dispensing or consumption or the presence in glasses or other receptacles suitable to permit the consumption by an individual of alcoholic liquor shall be in accordance with the hours and days set forth in § 30-91 of the Connecticut General Statutes, as amended.
A. 
No person shall consume alcohol or alcoholic beverages of any kind in any public area in the Town.
B. 
For the purposes of this section, "public area" shall be construed to include, but not be limited to, streets, roadways, sidewalks, parking areas and parking garages, unless such area is private property and those consuming alcohol therein have permission of the owner thereof to so use his property.
