Any bicycle operated by the owner or other person lawfully in
custody thereof in violation of any of the provisions of this article
may be taken into custody and impounded for a period not exceeding
30 days.

This is prohibited on Main Street from Front Street to Church
Street and High Street from Market Street to Miller Street.
No person shall ride or propel any bicycle upon any sidewalk
in such a manner as to interfere with any pedestrian thereon.

No person shall ride or propel a bicycle upon a public street,
highway or sidewalk except in a prudent and careful manner and at
a reasonable rate of speed.

Persons riding bicycles shall observe all traffic signs, shall
stop at all stop signs, and shall further observe all traffic rules
and regulations applicable thereto, and shall turn only at intersections,
signal for turns, ride at the righthand side of the street or highway,
and pass to the left when passing overtaken vehicles that are slower
moving, and shall pass to the right when meeting another vehicle.

No person shall operate or propel any bicycle without having
his hands upon the handlebars thereof.

No person operating or propelling a bicycle having only one
saddle shall carry any other person on the bicycle.

It shall be unlawful for any person while riding a bicycle to
hold on to a moving bus, truck or other vehicle.

It shall be unlawful to ride or propel a bicycle on any street
or other public highway of the City after dark unless the bicycle
is equipped with a sufficient light, attached to the front of the
bicycle, visible from the front thereof at a distance of not less
than 200 feet and properly lighted, or without a red taillight or,
in lieu thereof, a reflector attached to and visible from the rear
of the bicycle for a distance of not less than 200 feet.

No person shall ride or propel a bicycle upon any public street,
highway or sidewalk in the City abreast or to the left of any other
person so riding or propelling a bicycle.

The chief of police shall have the power and authority to designate
and plainly mark such streets, ways or walks as may not be ridden
upon by persons riding upon bicycles within the public parks in the
City.
